If you have a passion for learning, seek immersive experiences, and have a life-long commitment to improving the environment, we invite you to join our natural resources management and environmental science community.

We are dedicated to educating you 鈭� the next generation of natural resources managers and environmental scientists. We engage students in field-based learning through Experience One, where students focus on one course at a time. Whether you are snowshoeing into alpine lakes to discover how climate change is affecting our local water resources or creating educational materials that connect the science and wonder of Yellowstone with the park鈥檚 3 million visitors, you will be making direct contributions to your community and gaining job training along the way. Many classes incorporate regional and international travel (i.e. Iceland, Greece, Nepal) so you can explore the diversity of our natural world and experience new places and perspectives.

You must have an unwavering passion for the natural world and be dedicated to working towards sustainability. You must be willing to put in long hours in the field, and always be dedicated to your team and quality results. The payoff for you is a portfolio filled with examples of what you can do. You will make connections for internships and jobs, and since our job placement rate is over 90% within two years of graduation, you will succeed. For the extra adventurous, many classes involve traveling all over the world.

 For this class we partnered with U.S. Forest Service & Flathead Watershed Alliance to support and protect the Flathead Watershed.
